Updated September 29th, 2006 from my apartment in the quaint town of Los Angeles, California. # Just wrote a thought about social chemistry. [[You don’t know anyone outside the context of yourself]]. # Wrapped Godzilla At the end of August I wrapped cutting [Godzilla x Kong: Supernova](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2931178/) and am super proud of the work we did. The team behind this franchise at Legendary is unlike any other studio I've worked at. Dialed into the tone, collaborative, and incredibly genuine and kind. Grant, the director of Supernova, went out of his way to create an atmosphere of [[Best idea wins]]. # Working on CUT TO: Hollywood As mentioned on the homepage, Yoni and I have been developing [CUT TO: Hollywood](https://cuttohollywood.com/) for the past few years, which is our course about how to [[Hollywood isn't just about who you know.|actually get hired]] in this extremely competitive town. We're now officially launched and have a handful of members on board. We're beyond excited to see where this goes. # Created jessechapman[[dot com was already taken|.net]]. I've always been interested in creating a digital garden, which is what this site is. There's no directory of published articles. It's just of in-the-moment. I'll write some stuff and then change that stuff. It's updated randomly as my thoughts and ideas change and evolve. You'll have to work to find all the links. It's a bit like wandering through a garden (or being on a scavenger hunt). I think it'll help me write less structured, which will help me think more structured. --- The now page idea comes from [Derek Sivers](https://sive.rs/nowff).
